Ferrari – 308 & Mondial

The Ferrari 308 is pictured first and Mondial second. 308’s are starting to pop up below $30K, so they are becoming more affordable. Most Mondial’s are pretty common to find under $30K. The 308 does 0-60 in 6.9 seconds and the ¼ mile in 14.9. The Mondial does 0-60 in 6.6 seconds and the ¼ mile in 15.0. Handling is wonderful on these and the looks are great! Wouldn’t it be nice to respond to people with “Ferrari” when they ask, “What kind of car you drive?” Ferrari’s do need special maintenance every 30,000 miles or so and you should also pay special attention to the timing belts, as losing a timing belt is critical to the motor. There’s nothing like the distinct sound of a Ferrari’s exhaust note!
Ferrari Replicas

Ferrari replicas are pretty common and you can find quite a few different models out there for under $30K, like the Testarossa, 308 and 355. They will perform about like the Lamborghini Replicas because they are all pretty light and most of them are based off the Fiero Chassis/motor as a platform, but some MR2 based replicas are starting to get popular. Some replicas even have a custom tube chassis but those models are more expensive. They have both the V6 and V8 options, like Lambo replicas. You can buy a real Ferrari for under $30K, so personally I would not recommend buying a Ferrari Replica, unless you come across a deal like my friend Mike with the $10,000 Testarossa replica. There sure are some pretty ones out there though, like the 355 replica pictured above. Nice! You’ll need to do some searching and look around quite a bit to find a well made Ferrari replica. Ferrari is pretty brutal about people making replicas of their cars, so you really won’t see many postings on www.ebay.com with the word “Ferrari” posted in a replica ad. Usually the seller writes something like “Ferr@ri” so Ferrari doesn’t flag the ad and kill the sell. So be strategic with your keywords searching for Ferrari Replicas.
